Working together with ABP, we designed an intuitive AI search solution to provide enhanced document discovery capabilities.
The brief.
ABP, a global consultancy specialising in business process management and AI-powered automation, approached us for support with a client.
The task involved enhancing the user experience of the client’s existing document search solution, currently integrated into an Excel sheet.
Our client aimed for a user-friendly, intuitive platform design to streamline document search for their employees. The project requirements included a desktop version, along with the creation of wireframes and a Figma prototype for the proposed solution.
Our approach.
We initiated the project by meeting with the client to find out the needs and challenges of the proposal. Over a couple of initial meetings, we took notes and brainstormed ideas using Figjam, which made collaboration fun and frictionless. We analysed the client needs, researched the current market, worked on wireframes, visual design and prototype.
Improved User Experience With AI
We utilized the potential of AI to modernize the process of sifting through numerous lines of Excel sheets, replacing it with a natural language-based search mechanism.
Auto-Complete Suggestions
By incorporating autocomplete suggestions, we aimed to streamline the user experience, enabling users to swiftly initiate tasks and minimize the learning curve, thus allowing them to concentrate on their work more efficiently.

The outcome.
We packaged up a flow of the proposed design solution within 2 weeks. The final deliverable included sketches, wireframes, visual design and a Figma prototype.
Document Search
A user interface that employs natural language processing to search through a complex document database. Users can interact with the AI by asking for specific types of documents they are seeking.
Search Results
The search results are displayed in a user-friendly manner for easy navigation. Users can refine the results using filters and explore other related topics seamlessly.
Shareable Library
To preserve their work, users can add pertinent documents to a library, which can then be shared with colleagues or managers. The AI mechanism automatically generates a collective summary for the documents added to the library.
