Responsibilities:

  • Will assist a Sr. Tivoli Architect by facilitating the scheduling of batch jobs within production and non-production environments

Qualifications:

  • At least 2-3 years for job scheduling experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in Tivoli Work Scheduling (TWS) Console
  • At least 2 years of experience in Job Scheduling Console (JSC)
  • Prefer 1 year of experience in Unix environment (hands-on)
  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience in Unix Commands and VI Commands
  • UC4 knowledge is a plus

BI Application Analyst    Posted: 11/1/11

The Business Intelligence (BI) Application Analyst and Developer primarily designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains BI deliverables.  The role works under the direction of the BI manager in the Information Management department.  The role will interface directly with business analysts, business customers, other technology application analysts and developers, as well as external business contacts. 

Responsibilities:

  • The role requires formulating and defining BI scope and objectives through research and fact-finding endeavors
  • The role requires designing, coding, testing, documenting, and troubleshooting BI deliverables
  • The role requires preparing and reviewing detailed design specifications from which metadata or reports will be written
  •  The role requires collaboration with other IT professionals to resolve issues with BI deliverables 
  • The role requires contributing to the development of estimates, project plans, and milestones 
  • The role will be asked to participate in medium or large moderately complex projects with limited direct supervision
  • A successful individual will demonstrate continual learning while maintaining an intermediate BI and risk management knowledge base  


    • Requirements:

    • Knowledge with any of the following versions of IBM Cognos: 7.x, 8.x, 10.x is preferred
    • Experience in another BI tool, SAP B.O. or Oracle BI is also acceptable
    • Knowledge in the following Cognos applications would be preferred:  Framework Manager, Report Studio, Cognos Connection,
    • Understanding of Data Warehousing, Master Data Management, and Data Architecture is a plus
    • Understanding of Extracting (E), Transforming (T), and Loading (L) data a plus
    • Able to write basic SQL statements against SQL Server or Oracle relational databases
    • Able to write and understand Object Oriented Programming a plus
    • Able to write and understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript or ASPX / AJAX is a plus.
