Background
Intelliseek (prior to becoming Buzzmetrics) was looking to accelerate the release rate of its flagship product to mine the Consumer Generated Media (CGM) from multiple disparate unstructured content sources (such as blogs, chat rooms, Usenet groups, etc.). Intelliseek wanted to minimize the total cost of product development and hence wanted Ascendum to assume co-product development from its Global Development Center in Bangalore.
Ascendum Solution
Ascendum's Content Mining Group developed the modules to automate the human tasks of reading and cataloging the CGM in a software system, and delivered the automation in record time. Ascendum had to identify the right technology, the architecture needed to upload the automated forms to U.S. based servers for instant availability of the mined content, and work on dashboards/reports that end-user customers (brand managers of F1000 companies) would expect on time.
